Children’s Worship is for ages 5-11 and takes place each Sunday during the service in the lower level of the church sanctuary. There they get to experience Bible Stories, have snacks, play games, do crafts, and watch videos to help bring the biblical lessons to life! We also have a nursery available for those who are under the age of 4. Once downstairs, they spend some time together as one large group at the start of their own worship time, then they divide into two groups that are lead by trained leaders who are police and child abuse registry cleared.
The spiritual goals for these children are divided up into two age groups:
Our younger group, ages 5-8:
- I can trust God
- Obedience is best
- Giving is God’s way
- Treat others the way you want to be treated
Our older group, ages 9-11:
- Launch into a personal relationship with Jesus
- Learn about and practice the spiritual disciplines
- Learn about and launch into ministry and service
Now that Summer is over for another year, the leaders of the children’s Discovery Kingdom program are all ready for another exciting adventure this fall and winter for your children!
We continue the adventure using The Gospel Project`s 3rd volume called `A Kingdom Established”`
Join your new family at Bethany Memorial Baptist Church, where everyone is welcomed, accepted, and can find their true worth through God`s love!
The Discovery Kingdom kids (grades primary to grade 6) meet in the lower level of the church during the Sunday morning service (11 AM) for their awesome adventure into God`s One Big Story of the Bible and how it all points to Jesus.
PS…there`s a Nursery & Toddler room available for the little ones under 2 years of age, as well as a preschool room for the 3 to 4 year olds.
Our Discovery Kingdom leaders are trained and screened, they are ready for another exciting year ahead!

Parents, do you want your 5 to 11 year olds to be kids of integrity? Well, we at Bethany can support you with that!
For the Summer Sunday at Bethany we take a break from our Gospel Project Series to offer our Children’s Summer Worship .
Starting at 10 am and each Sunday at Bethany Memorial (539 Aldershot Rd.) they’ll play board games, hear Bible stories, and sing songs to learn about hero-like character traits.
This will support you in shaping your kids to be kids of integrity!
