Kentville is a town in Kings County, Nova Scotia. It is one of the main towns in the Annapolis Valley, and it is the county seat of Kings County. As of 2006, the town of Kentville had a population of 5,815 people.

A quasi-suburb of Kentville, Aldershot developed as a farming community, The community grew substantially after 1904 when the British Army and later the Department of Militia and Defence expropriated a large tract of land north of the Cornwallis River for an army training facility, named Camp Aldershot, it continues to operate.
