Last Sunday we heard a message from Pastor Marshall Phinney on Luke 19:1-9 and various stories of people sharing their stories about where they used to be and where they are now because of Jesus Christ. Marshall gives the illustration of a $20.00 bill (top left corner of collage) and as he crinkles it, steps on it, and folds it, the value of it never changes; it is still $20.00. He relates this to our value as humans, no matter what our background, how many bruises, bumps, or scars physically or emotionally that we may have our value never changes in the eyes of God; we are still His and we are unconditionally loved.
